Combating short-sightedness via the 'Bates Method': Day 1

Hello everyone. My name is Cameron. About a month ago, I discovered that I am going mildly short sighted in my left eye. I recently heard about a 'natural cure' for short sightedness known as the 'Bates Method'. I am sceptical, yet intrigued by this supposed 'cure'. As a result of my curiosity, I have decided to try the Bates method (some of it, anyway). Today I tried the method of focusing on my finger (a close up object) using my left eye for 5 seconds, and then focusing on the horizon/hills in the distance for five seconds, and then alternating that between both of my eyes and my right eye for 10 minutes. Obviously, I do not feel any different after this (apart from slightly sore eyes), but only the test of time will show the reality of whether this program works.

I will try my best to do these eye exercises daily, and I will post every day regarding how it is going. That's it for this post!
